Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 24, 2026

This policy explains what information Dadzilluh (dadzilluh.com) collects, why, and the choices you have. The site is operated by MLC LLC ("we", "us"). Questions go to hello@dadzilluh.com.

The short version

  • We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful.
  • If you sign up for our newsletter, we keep your email address to send it. We don't sell it.
  • Some links are affiliate links. If you click one, the retailer or network may set a cookie so we can earn a commission.
  • We don't sell your personal information, and we don't run advertising networks on the site.

Information collected automatically

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived, your general location (city or region, based on your IP address), device and browser type, and how long you stay. We use these reports to understand which pages help people and what to fix. Google processes this information under its own terms; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Server logs. The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify receives standard request information, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Netlify's privacy policy.

Information you give us

Newsletter. If you enter your email in the newsletter sign-up forms (on the newsletter page and on several tools), Netlify Forms, our hosting provider's form service, stores your email address and a note of which page or tool the form was on. We use it only to send the newsletter you asked for. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can email hello@dadzilluh.com and we'll remove you.

Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message, and we use it to reply.

Tools. The calculators (such as the budget, emergency fund, 529 and meal-kit calculators) run in your browser and save your inputs in your browser's local storage. The numbers you enter are not sent to us. The downloadable spreadsheets are plain files; downloading one does not ask for any information. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Affiliate links and cookies

We participate in affiliate programs, including Amazon Associates and the Awin affiliate network. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer or network may set cookies or use similar technology to record that the visit came from us, so we can earn a commission if you buy. They don't share your name or payment details with us; we see reports such as clicks and order totals.

Pages on this site load a small script from Awin that recognizes and tracks affiliate links and may set cookies when the page loads.

Each company handles that data under its own privacy policy: Amazon, Awin.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

How we share information

We share information only with the service providers that run the site for us (Netlify for hosting and forms, Google for analytics), with the affiliate partners described above, or when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

Google Analytics keeps detailed, user-level data for no more than 14 months. We keep newsletter email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until we stop the newsletter. We keep emails you send us as long as needed to answer them and keep a record of the conversation.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@dadzilluh.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights, and we'll honor requests from anywhere in the U.S. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

Do Not Track. Browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no common standard for how sites should respond to it, so this site does not change its behavior when it receives that signal. You can still opt out of Google Analytics with the add-on above.

California residents. Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act, this policy describes the categories of information we collect, the third parties we share it with, how you can review and request changes to it, how we respond to Do Not Track signals, and how we'll notify you of changes.

Children

Dadzilluh is written for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, email hello@dadzilluh.com and we'll delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we limit who can access the information we hold. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date above. If a change affects how we use information we already have, we'll say so clearly here.
